Cambios...:)
Hola Familia!!!
Make it a fabulous week and enjoy every moment!!!!!!!!!!!
What a wonderful experience it was to see my beautiful family yesterday. I love you sooo much! I also have the worlds greatest mom so special late mothers day shout out to you. I have some exciting news! So last night I got a call from our mission president and he told me I was being transferred to the worlds largest capital for spam...Austin Minnesota! I am excited for one last big challenge. It will be a challenge because I am white washing the area again (that means both missionaries have never served there and we both get put in together.) My companion is not from American I am not sure where she is from. haha her name is sister sow. Also We are going to be speaking 3 languages...spanish, english and koran i will also be helping her with english! President Forbes said that he knew I could do it and can count on me so we will see how that goes. It is going to be one BIG adventure. I am also a little sad to be leaving all these wonderful people I love here in Rochester I will miss it soooo much but that is how life rolls on! :)
So this week we were out of our area for a whole day up in Bloomington for mission leader conference and we were with our president for a while and that was really fun!
We really focused on Bertha and getting her all spiritually geared up for her 10 day trip. She will be getting back the 18th and is getting baptized on the 20th of june. So we wanted to help her really understand the importance of her own spiritual growth even while we can't be meeting. She is still trying to give up coffee and is doing a lot better. Her daughter who she is visiting really likes coffee so she said its going to be really hard to say no. So we role-played with her and she had the perfect response! Her faith is growing so much!
This past weekend me and my companion hna rawlins (so sad to leave her after 4 transfers) decided we were going to fast to find a new person who we can set a baptismal date with. We tried to set a date but we didn't. However we found some amazing people! We went to this ladies house who used to meet with the missionaries and found out she is super prepared now. She had told us how her and her husband have read the whole book of Mormon and how her favorite book of ours is the for the strength of youth. In fact it touched her so much she shared it with her mom and her mom shared it with her sister who was strangling who is 19. They loved the standards in there so much they searched for the church and have now been going for 2 years. Deborah is this ladies name. It is amazing to me to think of the first missionaries who went over and were inspired to share that with her. She then followed the spirit that it brought and it is changing her families lives. Those missionaries were probably honestly sad that Deborah didn't get baptized but they also probably dont know how much good they did. That's what happens when we open our mouth or from one of the people we were teaching this week let go and let god. We have to let him in. We choose what role he plays in our life.
Rita and her family continue to do well. I will miss them SO much. I have really grown to love that family. It has been so fun to teach the whole family together. Especially because they want to learn. I am excited for the sisters to keep teaching them and I know good things are in there future.
We got caught in the rain on a number of occasions this week .One time It started to sprinkle and as we were walking I asked hna rawlins should we chance it or go back and get an umbrella. Of course she said chance it. So by the time we ended our lesson outside was pouring like someone had just turned on the shower over head and we ran in our skirts through the puddles to the car. It was great. Never chance the rain here :)
I dont have more time to write today because I have to go enjoy my last days in Rochester and pack.
I love you all very much and appreciate all of your support. My favorite part of the call yesterday with the family is when they told me that all have my back because we are one big team. I am so lucky to be apart of that team. We are also so lucky as a whole to be coached by the master and creator of all.
Make it a fabulous week and enjoy every moment!!!!!!!!!!!

Perserverando Hasta el Fin
Hola Familia!!!!!
This week we had a lot of surprises! Jose decided he was not interested in progressing in the gospel at the moment. Satan seemed to have gotten to him and he wasn't answering us. When we stopped by he had all of the stuff we had given him tapped up to the wall with a note. It was so very very sad. We went out and found him sitting on a corner and tried to talk to him but he wouldn't talk to us. We decided to leave him with his Book of Mormon because it really touched his life and he felt the spirit of the Book of Mormon change him. I know this is just a road block in his path and that his faith will prevail. Victor also made the decision he will not be getting baptized either. So you could say this week threw a lot at us. It is very difficult to hear things like this and sometimes confusing but I know that God has a greater plan. The gospel gives me great peace to know that heavenly father sees the bigger picture. He sees it all so he knows exactly what each of us needs. Even when we can't understand he is in charge and his plan is perfect. I know that their lives have been touched forever and in all honestly I think they will both be baptized sometime in the future. :) I am just so grateful to have been apart of their conversion process! Missionary work is not always easy but it is so worth it. It is amazing and really an opportunity of a life time.
We are working more with a part member family (kimberly's dad rigo) and it is going great!!! He has a lot of questions and trying to understand how the holy ghost communicates with him to answer his prayers and questions. We had two great lessons this week and we read a few scriptures and we had planned, about the priesthood but he got something completely different from it and there is nothing better than that! That is an answer to prayer him being taught by the holy ghost!
We had the chance to volunteer at the RTC Spring Classic race this Saturday. It was a gorgeous day outside and soo fun! We passed out water as they ran along and I got pretty good at holding it on the plan of my hand and then passing it off so it didn't splash everywhere! :)
We have several new investigators we are working with. Thanks to the blessings of the Lord! This week we were able to share the family proclamation to a mother who is looking to be a better example to her two young daughters. She loved it and agreed with everything. She expressed that she would like to grow the faith of their family and was able to promise herself blessings. I meet them my first transfer here and it has taken us a long time to reconnect but I know they are some of God's chosen people because they have a desire! It all starts with just that!!
I have been learning in the Book of Mormon about Moroni and the valiant man that he was. How he prepared his people for war. We have to prepare for war each day of our lives. We are in an all out battle against the adversary. We have the tools to build our fortifications so we can fight back and conquer. God will always prevail we just have to invite him to our side. Have him help us become stronger than we can be alone.
I love you all. Keep strong in this battle for righteousness. GOoD will prevail!!!!
